Brent "Slick" Barnhill is the man that started it all within the galley of the Garner Fire Department in 1996. Brent was given the nickname "Slick" due to the way he wore his hair slicked back as a new firefighter of 17 years old, and this was the name used by his brothers at the Garner Fire Department for the rest of his life. It was this name that became the cornerstone of our brand, and is associated with The Best BBQ Sauce Money Can Buy by our local community. Today, we keep his memory alive, and we welcome you to experience Slick's passion with us!
